Adding displacement to your floor, it changes the position of its surface,
compenetrating all the geometry placed on it.

Just use the option “shift” to work fine:

 

CONCEPT

  • The best solution to add displacement is VRayDisplacementMod (in “Modifier List”)
  • For floors (or grounds) use 2D mapping
  • To keep the position of your surface us Amount = X cm / Shift = -X cm
